Pastor Pene Faumuina - Chairman

Pastor Pene, of Samoan heritage, is the current Chairman of the OLOA Board. He is the Pastor of Ōtara Baptist Church and brings over 20 years of experience as a secondary school teacher. With more than 35 years dedicated to church leadership, community outreach, and local sports, Pastor Pene is deeply rooted in service to others. He has also contributed his wisdom through governance roles on secondary school Boards of Trustees. His leadership is grounded in faith, integrity, and a heart for empowering the next generation.

Arryn Grant - Deputy Chairman

Of proud Tainui descent, Arryn serves as the Deputy Chairman of OLOA, bringing both leadership and lived experience to the role. A registered electrician and successful business owner, he has dedicated over 20 years to working alongside youth at risk. Grounded in cultural values and driven by a heart for his people, Arryn’s practical wisdom and steady presence continue to strengthen the kaupapa and direction of the board. 

Mele Faumuina -  Board Member

Mele, of Niuean heritage, is a valued member of the OLOA Board. A registered early childhood teacher with 10 years of experience, she brings a nurturing and community-focused lens to the team. Mele has dedicated over 35 years to church and community sports, reflecting her lifelong commitment to service, faith, and the wellbeing of others. Her insight into early learning and family support adds depth to the board’s collective wisdom.

Levonne Grant -  Board Member

Of Tahitian and Cook Islands heritage, Levonne brings over 20 years of experience in community education and leadership. Holding a Bachelor of Arts and a qualification in Business Management, she combines academic knowledge with a heart for service. As a valued member of the OLOA board and current Project Administrator, Levonne is instrumental in setting up the new office space and leading the organisation’s marketing efforts. Her ongoing focus includes championing staff wellbeing and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for the entire team.

Henry Gray - Board Member

Henry was born and raised in Ōtara and brings over 25 years of corporate management experience to the OLOA Board. He currently serves as Manager of Customer Care at Auckland Transport and is also a Cultural Advisor for Hybridges Consultancy. Deeply committed to community and whānau/aiga, Henry has led and supported various youth groups in Ōtara and Papakura and has served on school boards for over a decade. He is currently a Board Member at St Mary’s College in Ponsonby. Henry lives in Papakura with his wife Clara, their four children, and two dogs.

Aloma Siulua - Board Member

Aloma is of Tongan descent, with connections to Fua‘amotu and Talau, Neiafu. With over 17 years of experience in social work, youth development, and housing, she currently serves as Service Manager at Monte Cecilia Housing Trust. She brings a deep understanding of Pasifika family needs, strong community connections, and a cultural lens that strengthens OLOA’s commitment to empowering Pacific communities. Aloma is also actively involved in youth and church initiatives through Taka He Monu Tongan Methodist Church in Glen Innes.

Geoff Fuiavailili - Board Member

A proud Samoan with over 24 years of experience at the Ministry of Social Development, where he currently works as an Integrated Services Case Manager supporting at-risk families and solo parents. He also serves as the Auckland Regional Convenor for the PSA. Geoff brings deep knowledge of social systems, strong leadership experience, and a passion for helping young families thrive. He has served 14 years on the Board of Trustees at St Anne’s School and remains actively involved in youth leadership and community service through the Samoan Catholic Church at Holy Cross Parish.

Taitosaua William (Bill) Peace - Board Member/C.E.O

Bill, of Samoan heritage, is the Chief Executive and Co-Founder of OLOA. Alongside his late wife, Ruta, he helped establish OLOA with a shared vision to uplift and support Pasefika youth. Bill is a respected leader in both his community and the social housing sector, known for his steadfast dedication to serving others. With a lifetime of experience in community work, he continues to guide OLOA with integrity and heart, ensuring the organisation remains grounded in its purpose and responsive to those it serves.
